About Me
Out of all the millions of websites you could have chosen to go to, you have chosen mine, so I thank you!
I am a husband, father, son, fill-in preacher, and deacon. I am a reader, an avid baseball fan, and—most importantly—a work in progress. Due to my love of the game, I decided to create Achieving My Base. It’s a reminder that as we walk this Earth, we are all striving to attain something greater: our ultimate “Home Base” in Heaven, which can only be reached through following God’s revealed word.
In baseball, the goal is always to get home, but you have to navigate everything that happens between first and third. To help document that journey, this website focuses on three specific areas:
⚾ My Journey to 185
This is my personal trek toward health. I’m documenting the discipline, the setbacks, and the victories as I work toward my goal weight of 185 pounds. It’s about stewardship of the body God gave me.
📖 Scripture Reflections
Deep dives and periodic thoughts on God’s Word. As a fill-in preacher, deacon, and imperfect individual, my goal is to share insights that encourage us all to stay on the right path as we head for home.
🏟️ Stadium Reviews
My love for baseball takes me to different parks and diamonds. I’ll be sharing my experiences, the atmosphere, and the unique stories found in stadiums across the country.
Once again, thank you for visiting. I invite you to check back from time to time as I “run the bases” of life. I really do appreciate your support. If you need any assistance or have questions about anything, I am more than happy to help any way I can.
God Bless!
