I don’t know where to begin, but…

Wow, it has certainly been a while since I last posted. As I am sitting here this morning taking a short 15 minutes to type, I’m sure there have been many changes in your life since I last posted. This is a new time for all of us. Due to the recent pandemic we are in, many of us are practicing social distancing and trying to keep our families safe. Times are challenging, no doubt. People are losing their jobs, businesses are closing, and the very freedoms and pleasures we had just a month ago seem to have a gone away, albeit for just a short while. For example, the ability to watch live sports is a freedom I have ALWAYS taken for granted and I miss it. I also miss seeing my church family.

All around us seems to be uncertain and rapidly changing. However, with all of that uncertainty, lies many opportunities.

-An opportunity to reflect and regroup.

-An opportunity to create some new positive habits.

-An opportunity to spend more time with the ones you love.

-An opportunity to cook more.

-An opportunity to read those books you have been planning on reading for a long time.

These are just a few opportunities that I can think of. There are so many more. For example, I am working on creating a habit of waking up earlier in the morning and running more and working out more. For me, this is a perfect opportunity to try some new things out! I encourage you to try something new.

-Try a new recipe.

-Start a blog.

-Call a friend you haven’t spoke to in a long time.

-Help someone else out other than yourself.

What are you doing during this time and what opportunities are you taking advantage of? I would love to hear what you are doing.

Please know I will continue to pray for all of you. After all, we are in this together.

Make the most of today and make it a great day!
